AV8's AiRSpace mobile application represents an innovative approach to aeronautical education, utilizing augmented reality technology to visualize complex airspace concepts within an interactive 3D environment that integrates seamlessly into the user's real-world surroundings.

It is important to note that access to this service requires enrollment in a certified AV8 drone training course.

In EXPLORE MODE, users can examine detailed models of various airspace zones, including:
<ul>
<li>Airports and aerodrome traffic zones</li>
<li>Military aerodrome traffic zones</li>
<li>Flight restriction zones</li>
<li>Danger areas</li>
<li>High Intensity Radio Transmission Areas (HIRTA)</li>
<li>Control Areas and Control Zones</li>
<li>London-specific restricted areas</li>
</ul>

The mode also offers advanced features such as people occlusion, compatible with certain Apple devices, enabling a more immersive experience by accounting for human obstructions within the visualization.

In AIRSPACE MODE, the application provides real-time visualization of airspace hazards in the user's vicinity, geo-positioned to their actual locations. Users can view distances to individual hazards, adjust the maximum display range (from 1 to 15 nautical miles), and customize the interface to declutter the view by filtering for airports, hazardous areas, or both. The displayed hazards include:
<ul>
<li>Flight restriction zones</li>
<li>Danger areas</li>
<li>Restricted zones</li>
<li>Prohibited areas</li>
</ul>
